Department of Software Engineering

1. Subject duties

- Teaching and training students in Software Engineering, Information Technology (universities and colleges).

- Teaching informatics subjects in the training programs of other faculties and disciplines throughout the university.

- Develop and manage software engineering training programs.

- Scientific research and support to build information systems in the university.

2. Staff member

- The Department of Engineering has 11 lecturers, with 2 PhD's degree holders, 9 Master's degrees holders (2 PhD candidates).

- Lecturers are young, active, enthusiastic, and highly qualified.

3. Cooperation in training and scientific research

The Department of Software Engineering is responsible for: 

- Teaching specialized courses for FIT students as well as other courses for students in other faculties in AGU.

- Cooperating with domestic and foreign experts on improving training quality and scientific research orientation.

- Regularly cooperating with departments and agencies in the province, informatics companies inside and outside the province (IBM, Sun VN....) in information technology projects, seminars on informatics.... to exchange human resource needs and update new technologies introduced in the teaching process, with the aim of training quality students and ensuring professional qualifications after graduation, meeting the needs of society .
